Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1/4 cup fresh berries
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • Honey to taste

Instructions:

Combine the oats and almond milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, simmer, and cook for 5-7 minutes until creamy. Serve in a bowl, top with fresh berries, flax seeds, and a drizzle of honey. Enjoy your nutritious start to the day!

Heart-Healthy Avocado Toast

My Heart-Healthy Avocado Toast is a quick and delicious way to get your healthy fats and proteins in the morning. The creamy avocado paired with whole-grain bread is not only delectable but also great for your heart. Add a sprinkle of chilli flakes for an extra kick!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 slices whole-grain bread
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Chilli flakes to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions:

Toast the bread slices to your liking. Mash the avocado in a bowl, add olive oil, and pepper. Spread the avocado mixture on the toasted bread and sprinkle with chilli flakes. Enjoy your heart-healthy breakfast in minutes!

Berry Bliss Smoothie

My Berry Bliss Smoothie is a refreshing and vibrant way to start your day. This smoothie is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that will give your heart the love it deserves. Blend it up in minutes for a tasty and nutritious breakfast.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Instructions:

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy the burst of flavours and health benefits with every sip!

2 ingredient pancakes

2 ingredient pancakes are quick and easy!!  They are also gluten and dairy free.  Add your favorite toppings and enjoy.

 

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup mashed ripe banana 

2 large eggs

Instructions:

 

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed banana and egg.

Whisk the mixture together until smooth

heat a non stick pan over medium heat

Pour the batter ontop of the pan in small circles

Cook the pancakes for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. 

Serve with your favorite toppings
